PRO TIP: If you are considering connecting your Shopify account to ActiveCampaign, please be aware that there are some potential risks involved. First and foremost, please be sure that you trust ActiveCampaign with your Shopify data. There have been some reports of data breaches at ActiveCampaign in the past, so this is something to keep in mind. Additionally, please be aware that once you connect your Shopify account to ActiveCampaign, you will not be able to disconnect it without assistance from ActiveCampaign. This means that if you decide you no longer want to use ActiveCampaign, you will need to contact their customer support in order to have your Shopify account disconnected.

There are two ways to connect Shopify to ActiveCampaign. The first is through the ActiveCampaign app, and the second is by using a Zapier integration.

The easiest way to connect Shopify to ActiveCampaign is through the ActiveCampaign app. Once you have installed the app, you will need to generate an API key and add it to your Shopify settings. To do this, go to your ActiveCampaign account and navigate to Settings > Developers.

Copy your API key and then go to your Shopify settings. Under the “Sales channels” section, click on Apps, and then click on the ActiveCampaign app. Paste your API key into the field provided and click Save.

You can also connect Shopify to ActiveCampaign using a Zapier integration. To do this, you will first need to create a Zapier account and then follow the instructions on their website.

Once you have set up your account, you will need to create a new Zap and choose Shopify as your trigger action. Select the “New Order” trigger and then choose ActiveCampaign as your action app. Follow the instructions on the screen to finish setting up your Zap.
