WooCommerce is a popular eCommerce platform that enables users to set up an online store and sell their products. ShipStation is a shipping software that helps businesses automate their shipping process. In order to connect WooCommerce to ShipStation, users will need to install and activate the WooCommerce Shipstation Integration plugin.
Once the plugin has been installed and activated, users will need to obtain their ShipStation API Key and API Secret from their ShipStation account. These can be found in the Account Settings page under the API Settings section. Once you have retrieved these credentials, you will need to enter them into the WooCommerce Shipstation Integration settings page, which can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.
After entering your API Key and API Secret, you will need to select the shipping methods that you wish to send to ShipStation. Once you have done this, click on the Save Changes button to save your settings.
First and foremost, please be aware that when you connect WooCommerce to ShipStation, all of your WooCommerce orders will be imported into ShipStation. This can lead to duplicates if you are not careful. Additionally, please note that any changes made in ShipStation (such as shipping rates or addresses) will be reflected in WooCommerce. As such, it is important to double-check your settings before connecting the two platforms.
Additionally, please be aware that connecting WooCommerce to ShipStation will mean that all of your orders will need to be fulfilled through ShipStation. This can be a problem if you use other fulfillment methods or if you have already started fulfilling orders through WooCommerce. Finally, please note that there may be some fees associated with using ShipStation; please check with their pricing page for more information.
Your WooCommerce store should now be successfully connected to your ShipStation account!
