How Do I Copy and Paste an Image Into Canva?

Last updated on March 8, 2023 @ 2:16 pm

There is one simple way to copy and paste an image into Canva. That is to use the built-in copy-and-paste function.

To do this, first, open the document with the image that you want to copy in Canva. You can also search for the image you want to use in the Elements and Uploads tabs.

Next, select the image then right-click on it, and select “Copy” from the options to copy the image.

NOTE: You can also use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl+C” to do this.

Finally, open the document or file into which you want to paste the image, then right-click on it and select “Paste” from the options.

NOTE: You can also use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl+V” to paste the image.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that when you copy and paste an image into Canva, you are responsible for ensuring that the image does not violate any copyright laws. If you are unsure whether an image is copyrighted, please do not use it.

And that’s it! A simple way to copy and paste an image in Canva!

All these steps should work perfectly for copying and pasting images into Canva. If you’re having trouble with any of them, make sure that you’re using an up-to-date version of Canva (the ‘Paste from URL’ function is a relatively new addition so older versions of Canva might not have it).
