Photoshop is a great tool for creating amazing graphics and 3D text effects are no exception. In this tutorial we will show you how to create a 3D text effect in Photoshop.

First, open Photoshop and create a new document. Next, type out your text using the Type tool (T).

We used the font “Gotham Black” for our text. Once you have your text typed out, select the layer in the Layers panel and click on the “3D” icon at the bottom of the panel. This will open up the 3D panel.

PRO TIP: When creating 3D text in Photoshop, it is important to be careful not to make the text too small. If the text is too small, it will be difficult to read and may cause eye strain. Additionally, the text should not be too close to the edge of the image, as this can also make it difficult to read.

In the 3D panel, click on the “Material” drop-down and select “Luminance.” This will give your text a nice glow.

Next, click on the “Lighting” drop-down and select “Spot.” This will add a spotlight to your text. You can adjust the position of the spotlight by clicking and dragging on the light bulb icon in the preview window.

Now that your text is all set up, it’s time to render it. Click on the “Render” button at the top of the 3D panel and wait for Photoshop to finish rendering your text. Once it’s done, you should have a nice looking 3D text effect!

3D text effects are a great way to add some interest to your graphics. By following this tutorial, you can easily create your own 3D text effect in Photoshop. Experiment with different fonts and material settings to create different looks.
