There are two main ways to create a banner in Canva: by using one of our many templates, or by starting from scratch.

If you want to use a template, simply click on the “Templates” tab at the top of the Canva homepage. From there, you can browse through our library of banner templates by category. Once you’ve found one you like, click on it to open it up in the editor.

PRO TIP: This article discusses how to create a banner in Canva. It is important to note that banners are often used to advertise or promote something, and as such, should be made with care. Banners should be clear and concise, and should not include any misleading information.

If you want to start from scratch, click on the “Create a design” button at the top of the Canva homepage. Then, select “Banner” from the list of options on the left-hand side. This will open up a blank canvas where you can start designing your own custom banner.

Once you’ve chosen your template or blank canvas, it’s time to start adding text and images! To add text, simply click on the “Text” tab in the editor and start typing. You can also use the “Uploads” tab to add images from your computer, or choose from our library of over 1 million stock images.

When you’re happy with your design, simply click on the “Download” button at the top of the editor and select the file format you need. Canva currently supports JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats.

Creating a banner in Canva is quick and easy! With just a few clicks, you can add some extra personality to your website or blog.
