How Do I Create a Collection List in Shopify?

There are a few different ways that you can go about creating a collection list in Shopify. You can either use the Shopify drag and drop editor, or you can use the code editor.

If you want to use the drag and drop editor, then you will need to login to your Shopify account and go to the ‘Collections’ page. From here, you will be able to click on the ‘Create Collection’ button and then follow the instructions.

If you want to use the code editor, then you will first need to create a new file in your text editor and save it as ‘collection-list.liquid’. Once you have done this, you will need to copy and paste the following code into the file:

{% for collection in collections %}
• {{ collection.title }}

{% endfor %}

You can then add this file to your theme by going to the ‘Edit HTML/CSS’ page and selecting it from the ‘Layout’ dropdown menu.

Once you have added the file, you will need to add a link to it from your theme’s navigation menu. To do this, you will need to edit your ‘theme.liquid’ file and add the following code wherever you want the link to appear:

This code will create a link called ‘Collections’ which, when clicked, will take visitors to your collection list page.
