How do I create a custom field in WordPress?

Custom fields are a great way to add extra flexibility and control to your WordPress site. To create a custom field, first go to your WordPress admin area and click on “Appearance” in the left-hand column.

From here, click on “Custom Fields” in the main panel.

You’ll now be able to create a new custom field, or edit an existing one. To create a new custom field, click on the “New Custom Field” button and fill out the fields as follows:

Name – This is the name of the custom field.

– This can be one of the following values: , , , or . Required – This is a checkbox that determines whether or not the custom field is required for your site.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with code or do not have experience with creating custom fields, we recommend that you seek help from a developer before attempting to do so. Custom fields can be complex, and if done incorrectly, can break your WordPress site.

Once you have filled out the fields, click on the “Create Custom Field” button to create the custom field.

Now that you have created your custom field, you will need to add it to your WordPress site. To do this, go to the “Appearance” section of your WordPress admin area and click on the “Custom Fields” tab. Then, click on the “Add Custom Field” button and fill out the fields as follows:
