How do I create a custom order in WooCommerce?

Custom orders are a great way to give your customers more control over their shopping experience. You can add custom fields to any product, allow customers to choose their own shipping and delivery method, and more. To create a custom order in WooCommerce, follow these steps:

1. Click the WooCommerce menu button (top left of the admin panel), and then click Orders.

2. On the Orders page, under the Product menu, click New Custom Order.

3. On the New Custom Order page, fill in the following information:

  • Product: Select the product you want to create a custom order for.
  • Description: Enter a description of the custom order.
  • Unit Price: Enter the total price of the product.

4. On the Order Details page, under the Order Details tab, fill in the following information:

  • Custom Fields: Select the custom fields you want to include in the order.
  • Shipping Method: Select the shipping method you want to use for the order.

5. On the Payment Method page, select the payment method you want to use for the order.

6. On the Final Step page, review your order details and click Create Order.

7. The order will be created and populated with the information you entered on the New Custom Order page.

8. To add a product to the custom order, click the product in the Orders table, and then click the Add to Cart button.

9. To change the order details, click the order in the Orders table, and then click the Edit Order Details button.

10. To add or edit the custom fields in the order, click the Custom Fields button, and then click the Add or Edit Field button.

11. To change the shipping method or payment method in the order, click the Shipping Method or Payment Method button, and then select the appropriate option.

12. To finish editing the order, click the Save and Complete Orders button.

13. Click the Order Details tab, and then click the View Cart button to view the order in your shopping cart.

14. To complete the order and submit it to WooCommerce, click the Complete Orders button.

15. The order will be completed, and the order details will be updated in the Orders table.

16. To view the order in the shopping cart on your website, click the View Cart button again.

17. To order the product online, click the Add to Cart button for the product in the Orders table.

PRO TIP: If you are considering creating a custom order in WooCommerce, be aware that there are some risks involved.

Custom orders can be time-consuming and expensive to create, so be sure that you have the necessary resources available before proceeding. In addition, custom orders may not always be compatible with other WooCommerce features, so be sure to test everything thoroughly before making your final decision.
