How do I create a Google Cloud load balancer?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 8:32 pm

Creating a Google Cloud load balancer can be done in a few simple steps. First, create a new project in the Google Cloud Platform Console. Next, select the Compute Engine instance type that you will be using for your load balancer. Then, select the Load Balancer section. Finally, create a load balancer by selecting the Load Balancer type option and entering the details of your load balancer. You can then select a load balancer configuration from the list and start the load balancer.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using Google Cloud Load Balancer, be aware that there is a known issue with the Google Cloud Platform that can cause your load balancer to become unresponsive. This issue has been reported to Google, but there is no estimated time for when it will be fixed. In the meantime, you may want to consider using another load balancing solution.

Once your load balancer is up and running, you can add a load balancer configuration to a virtual machine or an instance. To do this, select the instance or virtual machine that you want to add the load balancer to, and then select the Load Balancer section. In the load balancer configuration, you can select the load balancer configuration that you created in the previous step. You can then add the load balancer configuration to the instance or virtual machine.
