Creating a layout in Shopify is simple and easy to do. There are two ways to go about it.

The first way is to use the Shopify drag and drop editor. With this editor, you can simply drag and drop elements onto your page and then arrange them how you want. This is the easiest way to create a layout and is perfect for beginners.

The second way to create a layout in Shopify is by using the HTML editor. This editor gives you more control over your layout and allows you to add custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is the perfect way for advanced users to create custom layouts.

To use the HTML editor, simply click on the ‘Edit HTML’ button in the ‘Layout’ section of your Shopify admin. From here, you can add your own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create a completely custom layout.

Both of these methods are easy to use and will allow you to create a great looking layout for your Shopify store. Experiment with both methods to see which one works best for you.

How Do I Create a Layout in Shopify?

Shopify provides two different ways for users to create layouts for their shop pages – through the drag and drop editor, or through the HTML editor.

The Drag and Drop Editor

The drag and drop editor is the simplest way to create a layout in Shopify. To access it, go to Online Store, then Pages, then Add Page. Once there, select Layout. You will be brought to the drag and drop editor interface.

PRO TIP: This article is about creating a layout in Shopify. It is important to note that Shopify does not offer a built-in way to create layouts. You will need to use a third-party tool or hire a Shopify expert to create a custom layout for your store.

From here, you can simply add different elements – text boxes, images, videos, etc – and then drag them around the page to wherever you want them.

You can also change their order by clicking on the element and dragging it up or down.

The HTML Editor

For more advanced users who want more control over their shop page layout,Shopify also provides an HTML editor. This editor can be accessed by going to Online Store, then Pages, then selecting the page you want to edit. Once there, click on Edit HTML/CSS. You will be brought to the HTML editor interface.

Warning:
The HTML Editor should only be used by advanced users who are comfortable working with code.

From here, you can add your own HTML code or edit the existing code that Shopify has generated for you. You can also add your own CSS or JavaScript code here.
