How Do I Create a Pop Up Menu in Figma?

Creating a pop-up menu in Figma is a quick and easy way to add some extra interactivity to your design. To create a pop-up menu, first create a frame.

Then, add a rectangle to the frame. The rectangle should be the same size as the frame and have an opacity of 0%.

PRO TIP: When creating a pop up menu in Figma, be sure to first create a frame that will contain all of the menu options. To do this, select the ‘Insert’ menu and then choose ‘Frame.’ Next, create rectangles for each menu option inside of the frame. Finally, select the ‘Plugins’ menu and choose ‘Popup Maker’ to create the pop up menu.

Next, add a text layer to the frame. The text should say “Click me!”

or something similar. Finally, add an event listener to the text layer. The event listener should be set to “on click” and the action should be “Show Pop-Up Menu”.

Now, when you click on the text layer, a pop-up menu will appear! You can style the menu however you like using Figma’s vector drawing tools. Have fun!
