How Do I Create a Pop Up Window in Wix?

There are a few different ways to create pop-up windows in Wix. One way is to use the Wix Pop-up Editor. With this method, you can create a pop-up window that appears when a user clicks on a link or button.

To create a pop-up window using the Wix Pop-up Editor:

1. Go to the Wix Editor and click on the Add element (+) in the left sidebar.

2. Select the Pop-up element from the list of options.

3. In the pop-up editor, enter the URL of the page that you want to display in the pop-up window.

4. Choose whether you want the pop-up to appear automatically when the page loads, or if you want it to appear when a user clicks on a link or button.

5. If you want the pop-up to appear automatically, choose when you want it to appear (e.g. after 5 seconds).

6. If you want the pop-up to appear when a user clicks on a link or button, select the element that will trigger the pop-up (e. a button). Click Learn how for additional information.

7. Click on Save & Close to save your changes and close the pop-up editor.

Another way to create pop-up windows in Wix is by using HTML code. This method is more advanced and requires knowledge of HTML coding.

PRO TIP: When creating a pop-up window in Wix, be sure to test it on multiple browsers and devices. Pop-ups can be blocked by some browsers and devices, so you want to make sure your pop-up is visible to as many people as possible.

1. Select the HTML element from the list of options.
