How Do I Create a Session in WooCommerce?

Last updated on January 21, 2023 @ 12:58 pm

To create a session in WooCommerce, firstly make sure you have WooCommerce installed and activated. Then, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Sessions.

From here, you can enable sessions, set an expiry, and decide whether to force SSL on your site. Once you have done this, click Save Changes.

Now that sessions are enabled, you need to set up endpoints. Endpoints are points on your website where users can access their session information.

To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Endpoints. Here, you can add or edit endpoints as well as set up their corresponding redirection rules.

Now that sessions and endpoints are set up, you can start creating sessions! To do this, go to WooCommerce > Add New Session.

Here, you will need to fill in some information about the session, such as the name, type, start date and time, end date and time, and description. Once you have done this, click Publish. Your session is now live!

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create a session in WooCommerce, be aware that there is a risk of data loss. This is because WooCommerce does not create backups of sessions automatically. So, if something goes wrong during the session creation process, you could lose important data.
