There are a number of ways to create vector images in Photoshop. The most common method is to use the Pen tool. This tool allows you to draw paths on your image, which can then be converted into vector shapes.

To use the Pen tool, select it from the toolbar or press P on your keyboard. Then click and drag on your image to draw a path.

To make straight lines, click once at the starting point, then click again at the end point. To make curved lines, click and drag to create anchor points.

Once you have drawn your path, you can convert it into a vector shape. To do this, right-click on the path and select “Make Work Path” from the menu. This will create a work path around your shape.

PRO TIP: This article provides steps on how to create a vector image in Photoshop. However, vector images created in Photoshop may not be compatible with other software applications. Additionally, vector images can be more difficult to edit than raster images.

To convert this work path into a vector shape, go to the “Layer” menu and select “Create Vector Mask” from the drop-down menu. This will create a vector mask that can be edited just like any other vector shape.

If you want to add color to your vector shape, you can do so by selecting the “Fill” layer from the “Layer” menu. Then click on the color you want to use and drag it onto your vector shape.

You can also add strokes or outlines to your vector shapes by selecting the “Stroke” layer from the “Layer” menu. Again, click on the color you want to use and drag it onto your vector shape.

Creating vector images in Photoshop is a great way to create high-quality graphics that can be easily edited and resized. With just a few simple steps, you can create complex graphics that will look great no matter what size they are.
