How do I create a VPC in Google Cloud?

Last updated on December 18, 2022 @ 5:06 pm

Creating a VPC in Google Cloud is a relatively simple process. You first create a project in Google Cloud and then create a VPC. The steps are as follows:

1. Create a project in Google Cloud
2. Create a VPC
3. Create a subnet and an instance type
4. Set up your instance in the VPC
5. Add an interface to the VPC
6. Add an Access Control List (ACL) to the VPC
7. Add a security group to the VPC
8. Add a security rule to the security group
9. Add an IP address range to the subnet
10. Add an instance to the subnet
11. Add a route to the subnet
12. Add a security group to the instance
13. Add an ACL to the instance
14. Add a security rule to the security group
15. Configure the instance
16. Test the instance.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create a VPC in Google cloud, please be aware that there are a few things you need to consider before doing so. Make sure you have enough IP addresses available for your VPC, as well as the correct subnet mask and gateway. Also, be sure to create a firewall rule to allow traffic into your VPC.
