How Do I Create a WooCommerce Membership Site?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:04 pm

Do you want to create a membership site using WooCommerce? It’s a great way to sell access to exclusive content or services, and in this article, we’ll show you how to do it.

First, you need to install and activate the WooCommerce Memberships plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, you need to visit the Memberships page in your WordPress admin area and click on the Add New button.

PRO TIP: When creating a WooCommerce membership site, it is important to take into consideration the following:
-The content on your site should be exclusive to members only.
-You will need to set up a payment system so that people can pay to become members.
-You will need to create a registration process for people to sign up as members.
-It is important to protect your content so that only members can access it.

On the next screen, you need to enter a name for your membership plan and then select a product that will grant access to this membership plan. If you don’t have any products yet, then you can create one by going to WooCommerce > Products and clicking on the Add New button.

Now that you’ve selected a product, it’s time to configure the membership plan itself. On the Plan Details tab, you need to select when the membership will expire, what content will be accessible, and whether or not users will have access to discounts.

Creating a WooCommerce Membership Site

It’s easy to create a WooCommerce membership site using the WooCommerce Memberships plugin. Simply install and activate the plugin, create a new membership plan, and select a product that will grant access to the membership plan. Once you’ve done that, you can configure the membership plan itself by selecting when it will expire and what content will be accessible.
