If you’re using Squarespace 6, there are two ways to add an index:

  1. From the Home Menu, click Pages. Then, click the + icon next to Index.
  2. From the Home Menu, click Design, then click Site Styles. Under Page Style, select Index Page.
  3. If you’re using Squarespace 7, there’s only one way to add an index:

  4. From the Home Menu, click Pages. Then, click the + icon next to Index.

To style text in HTML using <p>,<b> and <u> tags where applicable:

How Do I Create an Index in Squarespace? Squarespace makes it easy to create an index for your website.

You can either add an index page from the Home Menu or from the Design tab under Site Styles. If you’re using Squarespace 7, you can only add an index from the Pages section of the Home Menu.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Squarespace, we recommend that you seek help from a Squarespace expert before attempting to create an index. Creating an index in Squarespace can be complex and time-consuming, and if done incorrectly, it can result in a broken site.
