Invoices are a necessary part of running a business. They help you keep track of what your customers have purchased, and they provide a way for you to request payment for those purchases.

If you’re using Shopify as your online store platform, you can create invoices directly from your Shopify admin. In this article, we’ll show you how to create an invoice on Shopify.

Creating an invoice on Shopify is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. First, you’ll need to log into your Shopify account and go to the “Orders” page. From there, find the order that you need to create an invoice for and click on it.

Once you’re on the order details page, scroll down to the “Order Status” section and click on the “Create Invoice” button.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, creating an invoice on Shopify can be a very easy way to accidentally overcharge your customers. Make sure that you know exactly how much you need to charge for each item before you create the invoice, and be sure to double-check the prices before you send the invoice to your customer.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to create an invoice for this order. Click “OK” to continue.

Now, you’ll be taken to the invoice page where you can fill out all of the necessary information. Be sure to include the customer’s name, address, and email address as well as a description of the products or services that were purchased.

When you’re finished, click on the “Save Invoice” button and your invoice will be created! You can then send it to your customer via email or print it out and send it in the mail.

Invoices are a crucial part of running a business, and Shopify makes it easy to create them for your customers. By following the steps above, you can have an invoice created and sent in just a few minutes.
