How Do I Customize My WooCommerce Mini Cart?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:33 pm

WooCommerce is a popular eCommerce platform for WordPress. One of its key features is the ability to customize your shop’s appearance to match your brand. This includes the WooCommerce mini cart, which is the small shopping cart icon that appears in the header of your site.

There are two ways to customize the WooCommerce mini cart. The first is through the WordPress Customizer, and the second is by adding CSS code to your child theme.

Using the WordPress Customizer:

1. Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance > Customize. 2. Click on the WooCommerce section. 3. Select the Cart Icon tab. 4.

Here you can change the color, size and shape of your cart icon. 5. Click on the Save & Publish button to save your changes.

Adding CSS code to your child theme:

1. Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance > Editor. Select your child theme from the dropdown menu at the top of the page (if you’re not sure which theme is your child theme, please contact your developer or check with WooCommerce support). Find the “style.css” file in the list of files on the right hand side.

> 4. Add your CSS code to this file and click on the “Update File” button.
