How Do I Cut a GIF in Photoshop?

want to cut a GIF in Photoshop? Here’s how:

Open the GIF in Photoshop. Go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy). In the upper right, select GIF 128 Dithered from the Preset menu. In the lower right, select 256 Colors from the Colors menu.

Click Save. Name your file and click Save.

Now that your GIF is saved for web, open it in Photoshop again. go to Image > Trim.

Under Trim Away, select Transparency. Leave Width and Height blank, then click OK.

In the resulting dialog box, make sure (All Layers) is selected from the Trim Layers menu. Then click on the area of the GIF you want to keep and press Enter/Return.

Now all the transparent pixels around your image have been trimmed away!

How to Cut a GIF in Photoshop
