If you’ve ever wanted to add a bit of flair to your website or blog, you may have considered using Canva. Canva is a free online graphic design tool that anyone can use to create professional-looking images.

One of the great things about Canva is that it’s extremely easy to use – even if you’re not a graphic designer. In this article, we’ll show you how to cut a shape in Canva so that you can add some pizzazz to your next project.

The first thing you’ll need to do is sign up for a free Canva account. Once you’ve done that, you can browse the library of templates and images or start from scratch with a blank canvas.

For our purposes, we’ll start with a blank canvas.

Once you’ve opened up a blank canvas, the next thing you’ll need to do is select the shape tool. You can find this tool in the left-hand sidebar under “Elements.”

There are a variety of shapes to choose from, so select the one that best suits your needs. For our example, we’ll use a square.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva or graphic design software, we do not recommend using the “How Do I Cut a Shape in Canva?” tutorial. This guide is intended for those who are comfortable using these tools. If you are not, you may end up with an unusable file or format.

Once you’ve selected the shape tool, simply click and drag on your canvas to create the shape. If you want to change the color of your shape, you can do so by clicking on the “Fill” option in the top toolbar and selecting a color from the palette.

You can also add a stroke around your shape by clicking on the “Stroke” option and selecting a color and width for your stroke.

Now that you’ve created your shape, it’s time to cut it out! To do this, simply select the “Crop” tool from the top toolbar.

Then, click and drag around your shape until only the part of the image that you want is selected. Once you’re happy with your selection, simply click “Crop” in the top toolbar and your image will be cropped to only include the selected area.

Adding some flair to your website or blog has never been easier than with Canva! With just a few clicks, you can create professional-looking images that will make your site stand out from the rest.

So what are you waiting for? Give it a try today!
