As a Squarespace user, you may find that there are times when you need to delete a site from your Squarespace account. There are a few different reasons why you might need to do this, but the most common reason is that you’ve created a new site and you don’t need the old one anymore. Whatever the reason, deleting a Squarespace site is a pretty simple process.

In order to delete a Squarespace site, you’ll first need to login to your account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your account dashboard.

From here, you’ll want to find the site that you want to delete. Once you’ve found the site, hover your mouse over it and click on the trash can icon.

PRO TIP: If you are considering deleting a site from your Squarespace Dashboard, please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once a site is deleted, all of its content will be permanently removed from our servers. Please be absolutely sure that you want to delete your site before taking this action.

A pop-up window will appear asking if you’re sure you want to delete the site. If you are sure, click on the “Delete Site” button. Once you’ve done that, your Squarespace site will be deleted and you’ll no longer have access to it.

Of course, if you change your mind later on, you can always contact Squarespace customer support and they may be able to help you recover your deleted site.
