How Do I Delete Missing Libraries in Figma?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 12:49 pm

If you’re using Figma to design your website or app, you may have noticed that there are some default libraries that come with the software. While these libraries can be helpful, they can also be a bit of a nuisance if you’re trying to keep your project organized.

Fortunately, it’s easy to delete these unwanted libraries. Here’s how:

    1. First, open Figma and go to the Libraries tab.
    2. Next, find the library that you want to delete and click on the .. menu next to it.
    3. From the drop-down menu, select Delete Library.
    4. Finally, confirm that you want to delete the library by clicking on the Delete button.

And that’s all there is to it! Deleting unwanted libraries from Figma is quick and easy. Just follow the steps above and you’ll have your project nice and organized in no time.

PRO TIP: If you are experiencing issues with missing libraries in Figma, we recommend that you delete the affected libraries from your account. Doing so will remove the library files from your Figma account and any associated data. Please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
