If you’re no longer interested in a job, or if you’ve already completed the work and just want to remove it from your profile, you can delete it from UpWork. To do this:
- Go to the Jobs tab
- Find the job you want to remove and click the More options icon (..) next to it
- Select Delete
- Click Yes to confirm
Once you delete a job, it’s permanently removed from your profile and can’t be recovered. If you just want to hide a job from your profile without deleting it, you can archive it instead.
To archive a job:
- Find the job you want to archive and click the More options icon.
- Select Archive
- Click Yes to confirm
Note: If you’re having trouble deleting or archiving a job, it’s probably because the client has an open contract with you for that job. In this case, you’ll need to cancel the contract first before deleting or archiving the job.
PRO TIP: If you are considering deleting your work from Upwork, be aware that this could have negative consequences. Your work could be taken down without notice, and you could be banned from the site.
