How do I deploy to Linode?

Deploying a web application to Linode is a simple process that can be accomplished in a few steps.

1. Log into your Linode account and visit the Linode website.

2. Select the account type that best suits your needs.

3. Click the “Create Linode” button.

4. Enter the desired Linode account details and click the “Create Account” button.

5. Select the desired Linode region and click the “Create Server” button.

6. Select the desired Linode size and click the “Create Server” button.

7. Review the Linode server details and click the “Create Server” button.

8. Enter the desired Linode IP address and click the “Create Server” button.

9. Review the server settings and click the “Create Server” button.

10. Click the “Create Seat” button to create a new server seat.

11. Enter the desired Linode user name and password and click the “Create Seat” button.

12. Review the server settings and click the “Create Seat” button.

13. Click the “Create App” button to create a new web application.

14. Enter the desired Linode app name and click the “Create App” button.

15. Review the server settings and click the “Create App” button.

16. Click the “Create Volume” button to create a new Linode volume.

17. Enter the desired Linode volume size and click the “Create Volume” button.

18. Review the server settings and click the “Create Volume” button.

19. Click the “Create Server” button to create and activate the new server.

20. Review the server details and click the “Activate Server” button.

21. Click the “Link Server” button to link the new server to the existing Linode account.

22. Enter the Linode user name and password and click the “Link Server” button.

23. Review the server settings and click the “Link Server” button.

 

PRO TIP: If you are planning to deploy your application to Linode, please be aware that there are a few things you need to take into account.
