How Do I Duplicate a Gallery in Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:37 am

There are two ways to duplicate a gallery in Squarespace. The first is to use the Duplicate button in the Gallery section of the editor. The second is to export the gallery as an HTML file and then import it into another page on your site.

To duplicate a gallery using the Duplicate button, simply click on the Duplicate button in the Gallery section of the editor. This will create an exact copy of the gallery on your site.

To export a gallery as an HTML file, go to the Gallery section of the editor and click on the Export button. This will create an HTML file of your gallery that you can then import into another page on your site.

PRO TIP: If you are considering duplicating a gallery in Squarespace, be aware that this may result in lost or corrupted data. We recommend backing up your data before proceeding.

The easiest way to import a gallery into another page on your site is to use the Insert Gallery button in the Page Editor. This will allow you to select the HTML file you exported from the Gallery section and insert it into the page you are editing.

You can also add a gallery to your site using the Add Media button in the Page Editor. This will allow you to select an image from your computer and insert it into the page you are editing.

Adding a gallery to your Squarespace site is a great way to showcase your photos and images. By duplicating or exporting a gallery, you can easily add multiple galleries to your site without having to start from scratch each time.
