How Do I Edit a Custom Page Content in Shopify?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 3:50 am

Having a custom page on your Shopify store can really set you apart from the competition. But how do you go about editing the content on these pages? In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that.

With Shopify, you have two different ways that you can edit your custom pages. The first is through the Online Store > Pages section of your admin panel. Here, you’ll be able to see all of the pages that are on your store, including any custom pages that you’ve created.

To edit the content of a custom page, simply click on the page that you want to edit and then make your changes in the WYSIWYG editor. Once you’re happy with your changes, simply click Save and your changes will be live on your store.

PRO TIP: If you are not comfortable working with code or making changes to your theme, we recommend that you reach out to a Shopify Expert. Making changes to your theme’s code can result in unexpected changes to your live site, and can cause your site to become unavailable if not done correctly.

The second way that you can edit your custom pages is through the theme editor. To access this, go to Online Store > Themes in your admin panel and then click on Edit code under Actions for your selected theme.

In the theme editor, you’ll see a list of all of the files that make up your theme. To edit the content of a custom page, simply locate the file for that page in the list and then click on it to open it up in the editor.

Once you’ve made your changes, simply click Save and they’ll be live on your store.

So there you have it! Now you know how to edit the content of your custom pages in Shopify.
