How Do I Edit Site Navigation in Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:38 am

There are two ways to edit your site navigation in Squarespace. The first is to use the Navigation Editor, and the second is to use the Code Injection tool.

The Navigation Editor can be found in the Design tab of your Site Manager.

To edit your navigation, simply click on the “Edit Navigation” button and make your changes. You can add, remove, or rearrange pages as needed. Once you’re finished, be sure to click the “Save” button.

The Code Injection tool can be found in the Advanced tab of your Site Manager. This tool allows you to add custom code to your site, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. To edit your navigation with this tool, simply add the following code to the “Header” field:

<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>"

Be sure to replace the “index.html”, “about.html”, and “contact.html” URLs with the actual URLs of your pages. Once you’ve added this code, simply click the “Save” button.

PRO TIP: You may want to be careful when editing your site navigation in Squarespace. If you’re not careful, you could end up breaking your site’s design or functionality.

Conclusion:

You can edit your site navigation in Squarespace by using either the Navigation Editor or the Code Injection tool.
