How Do I Edit the Header and Footer in Squarespace?

There are two ways to edit the header and footer in Squarespace. The first way is to use the Header and Footer sections in the Style Editor. The second way is to use the Code Injection tool.

To edit the header and footer using the Style Editor, follow these steps:

1. In the Home Menu, click Design, then click Site Styles. 2. Click Header & Footer. 3. Use the Header and Footer drop-down menus to select the area you want to edit: Header, Main Content, or Footer.

4. Make your changes in the corresponding areas of the Editor. 5. To preview your changes, click Apply. To save your changes, click Save.

To edit the header and footer using Code Injection, follow these steps:

1. In the Home Menu, click Design, then click Code Injection. In the Header section, enter your code in the Header Code text box.

3. In the Footer section, enter your code in the Footer Code text box. 4. Click Save to save your changes.

You can use HTML tags to style text in Squarespace pages and posts. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In the Home Menu, click Pages or Posts, depending on where you want to add your HTML code.

2. Click the page or post you want to edit, then click Edit .

Click Insert at the top of the page.

Click Markdown.

In the Markdown Code block that appears, enter your HTML code.
