How Do I Embed a Canva?

Last updated on December 7, 2022 @ 3:29 am

There are a few different ways that you can embed a Canva design into your HTML code. One way is to use the Canva URL, which you can find by clicking the ‘Share’ button in the top right-hand corner of the design page. Copy and paste this URL into the code where you want the design to appear on your website.

You can also use an iframe to embed your Canva design. To do this, go to the ‘Embed’ tab on the left-hand side of the design page and copy the code provided. Paste this code into your HTML code where you want the design to appear.

You can also style text in HTML using < b > and < u > tags where applicable. To make text bold, simply surround it with < b > tags. For example, this text will be bold. To make text underlined, surround it with < u > tags. For example, this text will be underlined.

These tags can be used together as well. For example, this text will be bold and underlined. You can also change the color of your text using the ‘color’ attribute within the < font > tag. For example, this text will be red. That’s all there is to styling text in HTML!

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva, we suggest that you take some time to familiarize yourself with the platform before attempting to embed a design. While it is possible to embed a Canva design on a website or blog, there are some potential risks involved.

First and foremost, it is important to be aware that any changes made to the embedded design will be reflected on your website or blog in real-time. This means that if you make a mistake, or change your mind about something, your visitors will see it immediately. As such, it is important to be absolutely sure about what you want before embedding a Canva design.

Additionally, because Canva designs are hosted externally, there is a risk that they may be taken down without notice. This could result in your website or blog displaying a blank space where the design was previously embedded. For this reason, we recommend having a backup plan in place in case this does happen.
