How do I enable shipping address in WooCommerce?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 10:22 pm

If you’re like most online shoppers, you likely use a shopping cart and checkout system like WooCommerce to manage your business’ ecommerce transactions. Unfortunately, shipping addresses are often missing or incomplete from WooCommerce checkout forms.

This can be a major inconvenience for customers, as it can be difficult to complete an order without accurate shipping information.

Thankfully, it’s easy to enable shipping address in WooCommerce. The first step is to add a new field to your checkout form.

You can find this field by going to Settings > WooCommerce > Checkout.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products online, you may need to enable the shipping address feature. This feature allows your customers to enter their shipping address when they checkout.

However, please be aware that enabling this feature also allows your customers to change their shipping address after they have completed their purchase. This could cause problems with your shipping and delivery process, so please be sure to test this feature thoroughly before making it live on your site.

Once you’ve added the new field, you’ll need to provide your customers with a way to enter their shipping information. You can do this by adding a new form field to your checkout form, or by using a plugin like Gravity Forms to add a custom form.

Once you’ve enabled shipping address in WooCommerce, it’s important to make sure that your customers have the correct information. Add a reminder message to your checkout form to remind customers to enter their shipping information, and make sure that your checkout form is easy to use.
