If you’re using a self-signed SSL certificate, you’ll need to enable SSL in your Joomla website. This can be done by following these steps:

Open your website in your web browser.

Click on the website’s main menu (usually located in the top right corner).

Select ‘Settings’.

Scroll down to the ‘Security’ section and click on ‘SSL’.

PRO TIP: If you are enabling SSL on a Joomla site, make sure that your server meets the requirements for SSL and that you have a valid SSL certificate. Also, be sure to backup your site before making any changes.

In the ‘ SSL Configuration ‘ window that opens, click on the ‘Configure’ button next to the ‘SSL Certificate’ field.
