SSL is a security protocol that allows a website to encrypt traffic between the website and the visitor’s browser. This prevents third parties from intercepting and accessing the visitor’s information.
To enable SSL on GoDaddy, follow these steps:
1. Log into your GoDaddy account.
2. Click on the Domain name tab on the left-hand side.
3. Click on the Domain name properties button.
4. On the SSL Certificate section, click on the Edit button.
5. On the SSL Certificate Details page, click on the Add button.
6. In the Add SSL Certificate dialog box, click on the Browse button.
7. Locate the SSL certificate file that you downloaded from your website’s SSL provider.
8. In the Add SSL Certificate dialog box, click on the Upload button.
9. In the Upload SSL Certificate dialog box, click on the Choose File button.
10. Locate and select the certificate file that you want to add to your GoDaddy account.
11. Click on the Add button.
12. Click on the OK button.
13. Click on the Close button.
14. In the SSL Certificate section, click on the Close button.
15. In the Domain name properties tab, click on the Save button.
16. In the Domain name properties tab, click on the Close button.
17. In the Domain name tab, click on the GoDaddy Domain button.
18. In the Domain Name Details page, click on the Settings button.
19. In the Settings page, click on the SSL Certificate tab.
20. In the SSL Certificate Details page, click on the Enable SSL checkbox.
21. Click on the Save button.
22. In the Domain Name tab, click on the Activate button.
23. In the Domain Name Activation page, click on the Enable SSL checkbox.
24. Click on the Activate button.
25. In the Domain Name tab, click on the DNS Settings button.
26. In the DNS Settings page, click on the A Records tab.
27. In the A Records tab, click on the Add button.
28. In the Add A Record dialog box, click on the Browse button.
29. Locate and select the A record file that you want to add to your GoDaddy account.
30. In the Add A Record dialog box, click on the OK button.
31. In the DNS Settings page, click on the CNAME Records tab.
32. In the CNAME Records tab, click on the Add button.
33. In the Add CNAME Record dialog box, click on the Browse button.
34. Locate and select the CNAME record file that you want to add to your GoDaddy account.
35. In the Add CNAME Record dialog box, click on the OK button.
36. In the DNS Settings page, click on the Zone Files tab.
37. In the Zone Files tab, click on the Add button.
38. In the Add Zone File dialog box, click on the Browse button.
39. Locate and select the zone file that you want to add to your GoDaddy account.
40. In the Add Zone File dialog box, click on the OK button.
41. In the DNS Settings page, click on the Records tab.
42. In the Records tab, click on the Add button.
