How do I enable SSL on Namecheap?

SSL is a security protocol that helps protect your data from being intercepted while it’s being transmitted over the internet. Namecheap has a variety of ways that you can enable SSL on your account.

One way is to go to your Account Settings and under Security, select the Enable SSL checkbox. This will require you to enter your account password to activate the feature.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, enabling SSL on Namecheap can be a security risk. Make sure you understand what you are doing before you enable SSL on your account.

If you would like to enable SSL for all of your domains, you can go to the Domain Management page and under Security, select the Enable SSL checkbox next to the domain you would like to enable SSL for.
