As a freelancer, there will be times when you need to take a screenshot of your work to provide to a client or potential employer. If you’re using a Mac, there are a few different ways that you can take a screenshot. Here’s a look at how to enable UpWork screenshots on your Mac.

To take a screenshot on a Mac, you can use the built-in Grab app or the Keyboard shortcuts. To use Grab, open the app and select the type of screenshot you want to take. Then, click on the Capture button and select the area of your screen that you want to capture. To take a screenshot using the Keyboard shortcuts, first press Command + Shift + 3.

PRO TIP: Upwork may be tracking your activity on your computer without your knowledge or consent. By enabling Upwork screenshots on your Mac, you are giving Upwork permission to track everything you do on your computer, including taking screenshots of your activity. This information could be used against you in a court of law. If you are concerned about your privacy, we recommend that you do not enable Upwork screenshots on your Mac.

This will take a screenshot of your entire screen. If you only want to capture a portion of your screen, press Command + Shift + 4. This will bring up a crosshair cursor that you can use to select the area of your screen that you want to capture. Once you’ve selected the area, release the keys and your screenshot will be saved to your desktop.

Whether you’re using Grab or Keyboard shortcuts, taking screenshots on your Mac is easy and straightforward. So if you need to provide evidence of your work to a client or employer, don’t hesitate to take some screenshots.
