Designing in Figma is a smooth process, and exporting your designs is just as easy. In this article, we’ll show you how to export an image from Figma design.

When you’re ready to export your design, open the File menu and select Export > Image. This will open the Export Image dialog box.

In the dialog box, you can choose the format for your exported image. The options are PNG, JPG, and SVG.

You can also choose the resolution of your image. We recommend using the default resolution, which is 72 DPI.

PRO TIP: When exporting an image from Figma, be sure to use the “Export As…” option and not the “Save As…” option. The “Save As…” option will save a copy of your Figma project file, which can be large and unwieldy.

Once you’ve chosen your format and resolution, click the Export button. This will open a save dialog box, where you can choose where to save your exported image.

That’s all there is to it! Exporting images from Figma design is a quick and easy process.
