Export an InVision prototype

If you want to export your InVision prototype for use on your own web or app project, there are a few different ways to go about it.

One way is to export the entire project as a single file. To do this, open InVision and select File > Export.

In the Export dialog box, select a file format and click Export.

If you just want to export a specific part of the project, you can use the Export As feature in the same dialog box. This lets you export a specific layer, page, or scenario as a separate file.

PRO TIP: InVision prototypes can only be exported to certain file formats. Exporting to any other file format will result in the prototype being unreadable.

Once you’ve exported your project, you can use the various file formats to import them into different software applications. For example, you can import InVision projects into Adobe Photoshop to create wireframes or illustrations.

You can also import InVision projects into Adobe Dreamweaver to create websites or web apps.

If you’re using a Mac, you can also use the InVision export files to create native prototypes with Apple’s Keynote app.

Finally, if you’re using a web or app development platform such as React, Angular, or Vue, you can import InVision projects as components into your own projects.
