How do I find my AWS username?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:27 pm

There are a few ways to find your AWS username. The most common way is to type AWS login in your command line and hit enter. This will take you to the AWS login page. On the login page, you can type in your username and password. If you have an Amazon account, you can also use the Amazon Web Services sign-in page. If you don’t have an Amazon account, you can create one on the Amazon website. After you sign in, you’ll be taken to the Account Overview page. On the Account Overview page, you can click on the Identity & Access Management link.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure of your AWS username, we recommend that you contact AWS Support. Giving out your AWS username could allow someone else to access your account and charges could accrue.

On the Identity & Access Management page, you can click on the Users link. On the Users page, you can click on the Add User button. On the Add User page, you can type in your desired username and then click on the Go button. After you click on the Go button, you’ll be taken to the Add User confirmation page. On the Add User confirmation page, you’ll need to confirm that you want to add the username to your account. After you confirm the add user, you’ll be taken to the Add User Success page. On the Add User Success page, you’ll see a message that indicates the username has been added to your account.
