If you’re a Shopify merchant, you might need your customer’s Shopify ID for a number of reasons. Maybe you’re building an app that needs to connect to a merchant’s Shopify store, or perhaps you’re troubleshooting an issue with a customer’s account. In any case, finding a Shopify customer’s ID is easy to do.

To find a Shopify customer’s ID:

    1. Log in to your Shopify admin.

    2. Click Customers. From the Customers page, you can view a list of all your customers or search for a specific customer.

    3. Click the name of the customer whose ID you want to find.

    4. On the Customer details page, scroll down to the Additional information section. The Customer ID is listed under “Shopify ID”.

If you can’t find the Additional information section, it might be because it’s been hidden in the theme that your store is using. To unhide it:

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your Shopify customer ID, beware that there are many scam websites out there that will try to steal your personal information. Only use reputable sources to find this information.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. Then, click “..” next to the theme that you want to edit and click Edit code.
If you’re not sure which theme is currently active, then click “.” next to the “Live theme”:

2. Find the section of code and look for this line:

     {{ content_for_header }}

If this line already exists in your code, then it might look slightly different.
