There are two ways to style text in Squarespace: with the Style Editor and directly in HTML. In this article, we’ll cover how to find and use the Style Editor.

The Style Editor is a powerful tool that lets you control the look and feel of your site. To access the Style Editor, go to Design > Style Editor.

Once you’re in the Style Editor, you can make changes to the font, color, and spacing of your site’s text. To change the font, select the Fonts tab and choose from the available options. To change the color of your text, select the Colors tab and choose from the color palette.

Finally, to change the spacing of your text, select the Spacing tab and use the slider to adjust the line height and character spacing.

In addition to these changes, you can also style individual pieces of text by wrapping them in HTML tags. For example, to make text bold, you would wrap it in <b> tags. To make text italicized, you would wrap it in <i> tags. And to underline text, you would wrap it in <u> tags.

PRO TIP: The following article contains instructions on how to find the Style Editor in Squarespace. However, it is important to note that the Style Editor is a powerful tool that can be used to make changes to your site that could potentially break things. Therefore, it is recommended that you only use the Style Editor if you are confident in your ability to make changes, and you understand how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
