First, open Photoshop and go to the ‘Window’ menu at the top of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Tools’. This will open the tools palette. If it is not already selected, click on the ‘Tools’ tab at the top of the palette.

If you are in the wrong tool mode, your tools may not be visible. Second, try resetting your workspace. This can be done by going to Window > Workspace > Reset workspace. Finally, if all else fails, you can always reinstall Photoshop.

Next, locate the tool you want to use from the list of tools on the left side of the palette.

To select a tool, simply click on it with your mouse. The currently selected tool will be highlighted in blue.

Once you have selected the desired tool, you can use it as normal. To close the tools palette, simply click on the ‘X’ in the top right corner of the palette.
