How Do I Give Access to My Shopify Store?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:20 pm

There are a few different ways that you can give access to your Shopify store. The first way is to simply give someone your login information.

This is the most basic way to give someone access to your store, and it can be done by going to the “Settings” tab in your Shopify admin, and then clicking on the “Account” link. From there, you will see a section called “Shopify Accounts” where you can create a new account and set the password.

The second way to give someone access to your Shopify store is to create a staff account for them. This is a bit more secure than simply giving them your login information, because you can specify what level of access they have to your store.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to give access to your Shopify store to someone, please be aware that they will be able to access all areas of your store, including your orders, products, and customers. They will also be able to make changes to your store, so please be sure that you trust the person you are giving access to.

To do this, go to the “Settings” tab in your Shopify admin, and then click on the “Staff” link. From there, you will see a section called “Staff Accounts” where you can add a new staff member and specify their permissions.

The third way to give someone access to your Shopify store is to create a private app for them. This is the most secure way to give someone access to your store, because you can specify exactly what level of access they have and what data they can access. To do this, go to the “Settings” tab in your Shopify admin, and then click on the “Apps” link.

From there, you will see a section called “Private Apps”. Click on the “Create a new private app” button and fill out the information for your app. Be sure to set the permissions for your app carefully so that only the people who need access have it.

Once you’ve decided how you want to give someone access to your Shopify store, all you need to do is provide them with the necessary information (login information, staff account information, or private app information) and they’ll be good to go!
