How Do I Give Someone Access to My Squarespace Website?

There are a few different ways that you can give someone access to your Squarespace website. One way is to simply give them your login information. However, if you want to give someone more limited access, or if you want to revoke their access at a later date, there are a few other options available to you.

One option is to create a guest account. To do this, go to the Users section of your site’s Settings, and click “Add User.”

From there, you can add a new user and set their permissions. For example, you can give them access to only certain pages, or only allow them to view certain areas of the site. If you need to revoke their access later on, you can simply delete their account.

Another option is to share an individual page or post with someone. To do this, go to the page or post in question and click the share icon (it looks like an envelope).

PRO TIP: If you are giving someone access to your Squarespace website, be sure to understand the level of access they need before proceeding. There are three levels of access that can be granted: Full Access, Limited Access, and No Access. Full Access allows the person to make changes to your website, while Limited Access only allows them to make changes to specific areas. No Access means the person cannot make any changes to your website. Be sure to understand the risks involved with each level of access before granting it to someone.

From there, you can enter the email address of the person you want to share it with and set what kind of access they have. For example, you can allow them to view the page or post, or edit it. You can also set an expiration date for the share, so that it automatically expires after a certain amount of time.

Finally, if you want to give someone temporary access to your entire site, you can create what’s called a “staging site.” To do this, go to your site’s Settings and click “Staging.”

From there, you can create a duplicate version of your site that only certain people have access to. Once you’re done making changes to the staging site, you can then push those changes live to your actual site.

Giving someone access to your Squarespace website is easy and straightforward. Whether you want to give them full access or just share a single page or post, there’s an option that’s right for you.
