The first thing you need to do is install and activate the WooCommerce Hide Out of Stock Items plugin. Upon activation, you need to visit WooCommerce » Settings page to configure plugin settings.
On the Settings page, click on the Products tab at the top and then click on the Inventory link that appears below it. This will take you to the inventory settings page for WooCommerce.
On this page, scroll down to the “Out of Stock Visibility” option and select the “Hide Out of Stock Items from Catalog”. Once you are done, click on the “Save Changes” button to store your changes.
Now when a product is out of stock or if all its variations are out of stock, then it won’t appear on your shop or category pages. However, it will still be accessible via direct URL.
