Are you looking to import products from an Excel spreadsheet into WooCommerce? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that.

PRO TIP: If you are considering importing Excel into WooCommerce, be aware that this is a complex process and you could potentially lose important data or cause other problems. Make sure you have a backup of your data before proceeding.

Assuming you have your products in an Excel spreadsheet, the first thing you need to do is format your data in a specific way. Each column in your spreadsheet should correspond to a product field in WooCommerce. For example, if you have a column for product names, another column for prices, and so on.

Once your data is formatted correctly, you can export it as a CSV file. This is the file format that WooCommerce uses for product import/export. To do this in Excel, simply go to File > Save As and select “CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)” from the dropdown menu.

Now that you have your CSV file ready, it’s time to import it into WooCommerce. To do this, log into your WordPress dashboard and go to WooCommerce > Products > Import/Export. On the next screen, select the “Import Products” option and then click the “Choose File” button to select your CSV file.

After selecting your CSV file, you’ll be asked to map your columns to product fields in WooCommerce. This step is important as it tells WooCommerce which data from your CSV file goes into which product field. For example, if you map the “Name” column to the “Product Name” field, WooCommerce will know to import product names from that column into the “Product Name” field.

Once you’ve mapped all of your columns, simply click the “Submit” button and WooCommerce will import all of your products from the CSV file.
