How do I install Windows on DigitalOcean VPS?

Installing Windows on a DigitalOcean VPS can be a daunting task, but it is not as difficult as it may seem. In this article, we will show you how to install Windows 10 on a DigitalOcean VPS using the Microsoft Windows installation media and the DigitalOcean Installation Wizard.

Before you begin, make sure that you have the following:

A DigitalOcean account

A Windows 10 installation media

An Internet connection

To begin, boot your DigitalOcean VPS into the BIOS and set the boot order to boot from the USB drive first. Next, insert the Windows 10 installation media into the DigitalOcean VPS and boot from it. The installation wizard will start and you will be asked to choose a language and keyboard layout. After the installation has finished, you will be asked to create a user account and password.

Enter the user name and password that you created during the installation process and click OK. The user account will be created and you will be asked to reboot your VPS.

After the reboot, you will be able to log in to your newly created user account and start configuring it. First, open the Start menu and click on the Settings icon. In the Settings window, click on System and then on Update and security. In the Windows Update window, click on the Change settings button and scroll down to the bottom of the window. Under Allow PC to turn on without my input, click on the toggle switch next to this setting and then click on OK. Next, open the Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools. In the Administrative Tools window, click on Event Viewer.

In the Event Viewer window, click on Applications and Services. In the Applications and Services window, click on Microsoft Windows. In the Microsoft Windows window, click on Windows Update. Under Automatically allow updates, click on the toggle switch next to this setting and then click on OK. Finally, click on the Close button in the Windows Update window and close the Event Viewer window.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, installing Windows on a DigitalOcean VPS can overwrite your existing operating system and data. Make sure to back up your data before proceeding.

Now that the basic configuration is complete, you will need to install some additional software. First, install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.

When all of the software installations are complete, you can start configuring your Windows 10 system.

In the Administrative Tools window, click on Policies and Settings. In the Policies and Settings window, click on Windows Defender Antivirus. In the Windows Defender Antivirus window, click on Virus definitions. In the Virus definitions window, click on Windows 10. In the Windows 10 window, click on OK.

Now that the Windows 10 system is configured, you will need to install some additional software. First, install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Next, install the Google Chrome browser. Finally, install the Steam gaming platform. In the Settings window, click on System and then on Apps and Features. In the Apps and Features window, click on the Google Chrome icon. In the Google Chrome window, click on the Settings icon.

In the Settings window, click on the Advanced tab. In the Advanced tab, click on the Virtual Reality section. Next, click on the Enable virtual reality button. After the virtual reality installation is complete, you will need to restart your computer. First, install the Steam gaming platform.

Next, install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Finally, install the Microsoft Office 2016 software.
