How Do I Make a Clickable Link in Photoshop PDF?

There are a few different ways that you can make a clickable link in Photoshop PDF. One way is to use the hyperlink tool, which is located in the Tools panel. With this tool, you can click and drag to create a rectangular link.

Alternatively, you can use the Slice Tool. Simply, drag it over your link and right-click on your mouse then, select the Edit Slice Options.

Next, in the Slice Options dialog box, rename your file and paste your link on the URL input field. You can set your Target to _blank if you want the link to open up in a new tab in the browser once you click it. Once done, click Ok.

Then, go to the File menu, and search for Automate. Select the PDF Presentation in the drawer menu.

Lastly, in the PDF Presentation dialog box, make sure to tick the checkbox to add open files. You also have the option to include output options in your PDF. Click Save once you’re satisfied.

On your computer, open your PDF file and check if your link works as expected. You will know that your link works when you hover your mouse over it, a hand cursor appears, and of course, when it takes you to the linked site.

PRO TIP: When creating a clickable link in a Photoshop PDF, it is important to make sure that the link destination is specified correctly. If the link destination is not specified correctly, the link may not work as intended.

Another way is to use the type tool and click on the area where you want to create the link. Then, you can go to the Properties panel and click on the hyperlink icon. This will bring up a dialog box where you can enter the URL for the link.
