When you download an image from Canva, you have the option to download it in three different file formats – JPEG, PNG, or PDF. Each format has its own advantages, and you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
JPEG is the most popular format for photos and images. It offers a good balance between quality and file size, making it ideal for use in web design and email. PNG is a lossless format, meaning that it preserves all the details of your image with no loss in quality.
It’s ideal for images that need to be printed or edited in another program. PDF is a vector format, meaning it’s made up of lines and shapes rather than pixels. This makes it ideal for illustrations, logos, and other graphics that need to be resized without losing quality.
To change the file format of your image:
1. Open your design in Canva and click on the Download button in the top right-hand corner. 2.
Select your preferred file format from the drop-down menu. 3. Click Download to save your image.
Your image will now be downloaded in the file format you selected.
