How Do I Make My Shopify Page Private?

There are a few different ways that you can make your Shopify page private. One way is to password protect your page.

To do this, you’ll need to create a password in the “Settings” section of your Shopify account. Once you’ve done this, you can add the password to your page using the “Page Password” setting in the “Edit HTML/CSS” section of your Shopify account.

Another way to make your Shopify page private is to add a “coming soon” page. This can be done by creating a new page in the “Pages” section of your Shopify account and selecting the “coming soon” template. You can then customize the coming soon page to include information about when your store will be launching.

PRO TIP: If you are considering making your Shopify page private, be aware that this will prevent search engines from indexing your site, which could negatively impact your traffic and sales. Additionally, private pages are not accessible to any apps or third-party services that rely onShopify’s APIs.

You can also make your Shopify page private by making it an unlisted page. To do this, you’ll need to edit the settings for your page in the “Pages” section of your Shopify account.

Under the “Visibility” setting, select “Unlisted.” This will make your page private so that only people who know the URL for your page will be able to access it.

Making your Shopify page private is a great way to ensure that only people who are supposed to see your store have access to it. By password protecting your page, adding a coming soon page, or making it an unlisted page, you can control who has access to your store and when they have access to it.
