How Do I Make Someone Look Like a Stone in Photoshop?

When it comes to digital art, one of the most versatile tools in your arsenal is undoubtedly Photoshop. Photoshop can be used for a wide range of purposes, from simple photo editing to complex image manipulation. One of the things you can do with Photoshop is turn someone into a stone statue.

This may sound like a daunting task, but it’s actually quite simple. With a few easy steps, you can turn anyone into a stone statue. Here’s how:

1. Start with a photo of the person you want to turn into a stone statue. This can be any photo, but it works best if the photo is high-resolution and taken from the front. If you’re using a low-resolution photo or one that’s not taken from the front, you may need to do some additional work in Photoshop to make it look good.

2. Duplicate the layer. Once you have your photo loaded into Photoshop, duplicate the layer by going to Layer > Duplicate Layer. This will give you two copies of the same photo side by side.

3.

Apply a filter to one of the layers. On one of the layers, apply a filter to give it a textured look. You can experiment with different filters to see what looks best. A few filters that work well for this are Cutout, Mosaic, and Patchwork.

4. Change the blending mode and opacity. Once you’ve applied your filter, change the blending mode to Soft Light or Overlay. Then, lower the opacity until you’re happy with the effect.

5. Add a border. To make your stone statue look more realistic, add a border around it. You can do this by going to Layer > New Layer > Background from Selection. Then, add a stroke around the edge of your selection.

And that’s it! With just these five simple steps, you can easily turn anyone into a stone statue in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: The title of this article is potentially misleading – Photoshop is not a magic tool that can transform people into inanimate objects. If you are expecting to find a tutorial on how to turn someone into a stone statue using Photoshop, you will be disappointed.
